Parents of kids in Ironwood have had a tense few months, after learning in August that the All Saints Little Lambs Childcare would separate from Our Lady of Peace Catholic Parish. That stress has hopefully been alleviated with the news that Chandra Moreno will soon be opening the Ironwood Early Learning Academy Center, with Kim Anderson as program director, reprising the position she held at All Saints. TV6 reports The IELA is being funded by the community and generous donors. Kim Anderson says the center will continue to work on community development. The Ironwood Early Learning Academy Center is located at the G.N. Sleight Elementary School building and will officially open mid January 2023, with a ribbon cutting scheduled for January 6th.
