Ashland Police have had no luck tracking down the source of the “swatting” call made to Ashland Middle School late last week. The DailyPress reports the call came through 911 dispatch early Thursday afternoon. Other schools in Wisconsin experienced similar calls . The Middle School and Ashland Memorial went into lockdown until the buildings were cleared by the police. It is possible that the calls did come from anyplace locally or even in the U.S. Investigation continues.
