The newest COVID-19 booster vaccine is now available at the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center, as well as the flu shot. The clinic will be open to walk-ins to drom 10-11 am and 3-4 pm today. To be eligible for the vaccine, at least 2 months must have passed since your last booster or completion of the initial COVID-19 vaccine series. Vets throughout the catchment area can schedule appointments for the booster at any of the community based outpatient clinics by calling 800-215-8262 and choosing option #2. Boosters are also available to spouses, caregivers and CHAMPVA recipients as supplies permit. Anyone coming in for a booster should bring their vaccination card with them.
