A young Ashland man was killed and two others injured after the vehicle they were in drove off Highway 2 this past Sunday night. The Daily Press reports the vehicle was driven by a 19 year old Ashland man and drove off the road on a curve near Blue Ribbon Kennels into a ditch and hit a tree. An 18 year old passenger was killed and the driver and another 20 year old passenger were taken to Memorial Medical Center. Police are still investigating, and factors that contributed to the crash are still undetermined. The names of those involved are being withheld until family can be notified.
