Festivale Italiano In Hurley Great Success

Not too hot, not too cold…just about right describes the weather for Hurley’s Fesivale italiano this past weekend. The Globe reports a great crowd for the event with folks of all ages in attendance. A three block area of the main street was blocked off, to allow for vendors with everything from jewelry and clothing to home canned goods. There were traditional Italian food vendors as well as others, offering other treats like fresh picked and cooked corn and sweets. Bob Michaels and Bob Dugan provided music first thing, transitioning to Marty’s Goldenaire and Bugle Corp in the afternoon and Aftershock providing great classic rock in the evening.
