The Gogebic County Board of Commissioners has adopted guidelines for their Rehab Emergency Repair Program after a public hearing during the board’s regular meeting. According to the DailyGlobe, the guidelines will allow the Gogebic-Ontonagon Community Action Agency to administer loan repayments and recaptured funds on emergency home repairs from the Gogebic County Rehab program. The GOCAA can use funds from the program to provide emergency assistance to eligible homeowners. Assistance is limited to a one-time disbursement of $15,000 per household.
