Regional Airport Has New Interim Manager

The Iron County Airport Board held a special meeting to accept the resignation of the airport manager, Michael Harma, and to discuss the appointment of an interim manager. According to the Daily Globe, board member Jim Lorenson suggested that Todd Richter be named interim manager due to the length of his service to the airport. Lorenson also motioned that Richter and airport secretary Kristi Freeman serve as co-administrators of the facility and suggested that Richter receive a stipend. Apparently, Harma’s resignation took the board by surprise. The next step will be to outline the procedure to be followed to hire a new manager.
