The population of Iron River increased dramatically this weekend as folks traveled from around the region for the only PRCA-sanctioned rodeo in the state of Michigan. The U.P. Championship Rodeo has been hosted in Iron River since 1968. Friday kicked off the weekend with Market Days, the crowning of Miss U.P. Rodeo Queen, Zoey Poupore and Princess Kyler Appleglise, the Wild West parade, and of course the rodeo.
