Michigan State Wolf Management in the Spotlight

The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is asking the public to comment on the draft 2022 Wolf Management plan for the state. Michigan’s wolf population is on the federal endangered species list. The draft plan is aimed at accomplishing four goals; maintaining a viable wolf population, facilitating wolf-related benefits, minimizing wolf-related conflicts, and conducting science-based and socially responsible management of wolves. Links to the draft plan and survey can be found on the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Facebook page.
