Ironwood Planning Commission Recommends New Zoning Map and Ordinances

The Ironwood Planning Commission at their regular meeting this past Thursday, recommended the adoption of a new zoning map and zoning ordinance to the city commission. According to the Daily Globe, incorporation of new ways to implements retail marijuana establishments, including the number of licenses that the city will reward to applicants was discussed, as well as how the city addresses non-confiroming structures such as tiny homes and oversized garages, which as of late have become a major issue for the city. The Ironwood City Commission will discuss and consider approving the zoning ordinance at their regular meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday in the Ironwood Memorial Building.
