Human Services Board Makes Staffing Decisions

At their meeting at the beginning of the week, the Iron County Human Services board made some decisions regarding open positions. According to the Daily Globe, the board approved a job description for a new lead social services position and said they’d consider a current employee’s interest in the position. Human Services director Cally Bucknell also spoke with the board about compensating staff when they take on additional responsibilities when there are vacancies in the department. The board asked Bucknell to develop a staffing plan and approved a second aide position to help fill vacancies.
