Copper Peak Getting Some Upgrades

The world’s largest scaffold ski jump in the world is getting some help from the Great Lakes Sports Commission in the form of an investment of just under $150,000 to make upgrades. According to TV6News, the 90-story tall Copper Peak Adventure Ride attracts over 12,000 visitors and generates more than $200,000 in revenue each season. The funding will support structural repairs and chairlift upgrades including the installation of racks to transport mountain bikes to the top of the hill via the chair lift. Adding this capability will enable Copper Peak to increase its attraction as a thrilling trail cycling destination.
