Airport Manager Suprises Board With Resignation

The Gogebic-Iron County Airport is looking for a new manager as of this past Monday’s Airport Board meeting At the end of the board’s meeting, Michael Harma announced his resignation, stating that this was his last board meeting and his last day would be August 10th, according to the Daily Globe. None of the Board members responded to Harma’s announcement, except for Jim Lorenson, who requested a letter of resignation from Harma. Lorenson also suggested to board members that they hold a special meeting to address the vacancy left by Harma’s resignation.
