The Ironwood Area Schools staff continues to serve meals to kids in the community over summer break. Lunch is served at the Ironwood Depot Park from 11 am to noon Monday through Friday through August 19th. The Daily Globe reports that anyone 18 years or younger can pick up a meal for free. This includes kids from surrounding communities. Anyone over 18 can purchase a meal as well, for a small fee. So far the program is serving 80 to 80 people a day, including parents joining their kids for lunch. Lunch will not be served on the 4th of July or on the 13th through the 15th during Festival Ironwood.
