The search for Drummond resident Joyce Lenz went into its third day yesterday. 50 and then 75 volunteers searched around Lake Owen Drive in the Tahkoda Lake area, working on grid patterns over areas she might have wandered. The search involved ground teams and canine units, thermal drones and boat teams. Lenz has gone missing before and has been found in local cabins, walking in the wood or on the road. Officials have asked those with trail cameras and surveillance equipment to check for possible footage of Lenz. Local businesses provided searchers with food and drink and the town of Cable has made their community center available as base for the search efforts.
