11 communities in Michigan are slated to receive a portion of $3 million in grants for infrastructure and public safety enhancements, including Ontonagon in Ontonagon County will receive just over $216,000 and Gaastra in Ironwood County will receive just over $103,000 for the replacement of water meters in each community. Governor Whitmer made the announcement yesterday (Wednesday), saying the grants will help build on the state’s growing economic momentum.
