Safer Bridges and Smoother Driving on the Way in Ontonagon and Iron Counties

Work on the first of four bridge repair projects in Ontonagon and Iron Counties begin next week. The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) has announced that the $4.9 million dollar projects will begin work at the bridge on US-45 over Roselawn Creek next Monday. The start dates for other locations will be announced later, and the estimated end date for all projects is Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022. The work will extend the lifespan of the bridges, make for smoother driving and increased safety for motorists.
