Iron County Board of Supervisors Shuffles Seats

The Iron County Board of Supervisors met recently to reconfigure the board after the April 5th election. According to the Daily Globe, the make up of the board remained mostly the same, the only position with two or more candidates on the ballot was District 12 supervisor for Iron County. That race was won by the incumbent, Opal Roberts. District 6 supervisor Ken Saari, opted not to run for reelection. His seat may be filled by a new candidate, but the seat was empty as of the board’s meeting on Tuesday. Chairman and vice chairman of the board were re-selected to hold their seat again.
