Increase in Rates Will Fund More Efficient Reservation System

Rates for camping at Curry Park will go up after the Ironwood City Commission raised rates at their regular Monday meeting. According to the Daily Globe, City Manager Scott Erickson said the increased rates will help fund an online registration system among other projects, which should increase traffic to the park, as folks will know they’ve got a reserved spot, rather than taking their chances on first come, first served spaces. The new adjusted rates reflect research done by comparing Ironwood to other parks. Campers must make a reservation before setting up any site.
