Gogebic Community College to Hold In Person Commencement This Year

Gogebic Community College will be inviting members of the graduating class of 2020 and 2021 to the first in-person commencement ceremony since 2019. The ceremony will be held on Friday, May 6th in the David Lindquist Center gymnasium on the Ironwood campus. . According to the Daily Globe, Kim Zeckovich, director of admissions and marketing said that as many as 350 to 400 former students will be invited back to walk in the 2022 ceremony. She said it is hard to say how many 2020 and 2021 graduates will choose to participate. Zeckovich said she’s received around 130 applications for graduation with the class of 2022. The deadline for members of the class to purchase their cap and gown is Friday.
