Mount Zion was taken over on Friday night by Gogebic Community College staff and their families as part of the school’s staff appreciation day. The Daily Globe reports free lift tickets and ski rentals, as well as having the tubing hill all to themselves was just part of the fun. Students were honored and invited to be part of the activity as well. The school has not been able to hold the annual event since the pandemic began. Everyone was treated to pizza, soda and sweets in the chalet as well. Kim Zeckovich, GCC’s director of marketing and admissions, said it was a nice turnout after not being able to hold the event due to the pandemic.
