This Sunday, folks attending the Bayfield Winter Festival will be able to help local kids to have a safe playground by donating at the Bonfire Fundraiser. Besides a roaring bonfire, those attending the event at the Seagull Bay Motel will be able to have something delicious to eat, both hot and cold beverages, everyone can try their hand at a snow sculpture contest as well as doing a little shopping with some vendors selling gifts that have been donated. Organizers are aiming to raise $180,000 over the next couple of years to rehab the Cooper Hill and East Dock Park playgrounds. So far $16,ooo has been raised.
