This year, Bayfield County will receive almost quadruple the amount of Emergency Food and Shelter funding that it usually receives, due in large part to funding again from the American Rescue plan Act. A local board of representatives from virtually every social service entity will meet to determine how best to use the additional funding awarded to Bayfield county. The county will receive just over $26,500 to distribute among the agencies that provide much needed food assistance and lodging help to the community.
