At their meeting on Monday, Ironwood’s Parks and Rec Committee approved it’s goals for this year and moving forward. According to the Daily Globe, there we re several, including opening a lighted ski trail in Miners Memorial Heritage Park. The committee also approved adding more pickleball and tennis courts in public areas and upgrading the campsites in Curry Park. Director of Community Development Tom Bergman also asked to recommend that the City Commission moved forward with a grant application for the lighted ski trail before the current grant cycle ends.
