The Ironwood City Commission has approved a request from the Friends of the Gogebic County County Fair for a special water rate for their 2021-22 Snowmobile Olympus being held at the Gogebic County Fairgrounds on the 31th and January 7-9th. Greg Mason, speaking on behalf of the Ironwood Snowmobile Olympus group, said the event, which has been going on for the last 12 years in a row, brings not only race goers, but also volunteers to the area, bringing in revenue and it would great to have a nice track for the event.
