The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is looking for a few good folks who love being outside, working with your community, and teaching others about your state’s natural resources. Conservation officers serve a unique role in law enforcement, they receive the same training as other state officers as well as specialized training in protecting Michigan’s natural resources and helping folks enjoy the outdoors safely. Previous law enforcement, hunting and fishing experience are not required – recruits will learn everything they need to be successful in their training academy.
