February 5 sees the return of the MECCA Trails system’s second annual Winterfest. Events this year will be held both in-person and virtually from the 18th of this month through the 18th of February. Cross-country skiers will have three races to choose from, including the Flowage 15K Freestyle, the Clair d’ Loon 5K, and the Turtle River Pursuit. The races will be offered as live, timed events on Feb. 5, but racers can time themselves on these courses whenever they want between Dec. 18 and Feb. 18 to participate virtually.
