Long Time First National Bank VP Makes A Change

Long time vice president of operations and human resources at the First National Bank in Wakefield Lori Modjewski has retired after 43 years of service to the community. Modjewski is a Wakefield native, attending school at Wakefield High and later Gogebic Community College while working at the bank as a teller. She graduated from GCC with her associates degree in data technology. Through the years she worked her way up the ladder at First National, where fellow employees say one her strongest qualities has been versatility and being able to work well with both employees and customers. Modjewski and her husband Michael plan to move to Sheboygen, Wisconsin to be closer to family there.
