Santa will be making an early stop in Ashland on Saturday, as Bob Ford of Ashland, AKA Santa will drive through neighborhoods visiting with kids. Santa will begin his parade at 1p.m. through residential Ashland at the corner of Third and 17th Streets West, travel up and down the neighborhood and conclude along Main Street on the way to Sanborn Avenue. Santa has taken part in the annual Christmas parade, but wanted to do something more to lift everyone’s spirits last year during the pandemic. His parade through town was very well received, so Chamber of Commerce Director Mary McPhetridge and Bob Ford put another trip on the agenda for this year.
