A light dusting of snow helped make the mood this past Thursday night as the Jack Frost Tree was lit at Depot Park. Mike Meyer, executive director of the Ironwood Chamber of Commerce introduced the tree and this year’s Jack Frost celebration and then Mayor Kim Corcoran spoke about the challenges the community has faced during the pandemic but said she hoped the upcoming year would be better. After the Mayor’s speech, Mike Meyer lit the tree to applause and cheers. The crowd then moved into the depot for refreshments and Christmas carols led by Meyers on an antique organ.
