After General Elections, Ironwood Has A New Mayor.

After Tuesday’s 18% turnout for the general election, the Ironwood City Commission has seen some major changes. Kim Corcoran, a current commissioner and mayor pro tem was re-elected with the most votes out of a field of seven candidates. Corcoran will be sworn in on Monday at the city commission meeting. David Andresen finished second in the Mayoral race which puts him in the position of mayor pro tem. Nancy Korpela takes a seat on the board, incumbent Jim Mildren and Rick Semo held their seats. Incumbent Joseph Cayer, who’s served six two year terms on the board departs his seat.
