There are four people whose names are in the running for Ironwood City Commission and one current member has decided not to seek another term. Mayor Annette Burchell will not be running for re-election. Burchell has served six years as mayor and served three full terms on the city commission as well. Current city commission members Joseph Cayer, Kim Corcoran, Jim Mildren and Rick Semo are running for reelection. Other candidates who will appear on the ballot include David Andresen, Nancy Korpela and Dan Wood. A fourth candidate, Ryan Gobats, has filed his intent to run as a write-in candidate with the Gogebic County Clerkâs office.
