Students at Luther K. Wright High School celebrated homecoming on Friday with a parade through downtown Ironwood, a football game and the traditional homecoming dance. The parade was led by the school marching band and featured floats designed by the different classes, as well as the star of the parade, the float that carried the homecoming court. Families, teachers and other residents lined the street to cheer on the parade. Later in the evening, the Red Devils defeated the Brimley Bays 38-32 at Longyear Field. The homecoming court was presented at half time and after the game Anna Buerger and Gavin Delich were named queen and king at the homecoming dance.
