Area Seniors Have New Option in Dealing With Aging

Aspirus Ironwood Hospital has announced the opening of a new Geriatric Behavioral Health Program, designed to help older residents cope with the everyday challenges of aging. The program is a group model of care where there’s support from both group and individual therapy, and helping seniors develop the coping skills needed to deal with those challenges. Seniors or their families can call to set up a free consultation to see if the program would be a good fit for them. Patients with Medicare Part B may be eligible to participate in the Geriatric Behavioral Health Program if they meet the medical necessity requirements.
