In an update on the adult-use marijuana establishments license applications, director of city community development Tom Bergman told the Ironwood Economic Development council that two of the applicants that were approved for retail marijuana establishments are moving forward in the construction phases of their projects. Both will have to be inspected by the state to get their state license before Ironwood will issue local licenses. Higher Love Corp. is preparing for construction of their new retail outlet and Rize U.P. is expected to close on the sale of a property they intend to use as their dispensary retail outlet.
