A week of complimentary lunches marked the beginning of the Fall semester at Gogebic Community College’s Ironwood campus last week. “Week One Eats” kicked off with a pizza lunch with GCC president George McNulty. Lunches continued through the week at the Courtside Cafe in the Lindquist Student Center. Vice President of Academic Affairs David Darrow joined students for spaghetti on Wednesday. Thursday brought lunch from the outdoor grill with Vice President of Business Erik Guenard. The Courtside Cafe will be transitioning to the Samson’s Canteen, and administration felt the free lunch week was a good way to introduce students.
