Equipment back orders clearing means the Hurley K-12 Science Lab may be ready a few months earlier than the expected April delivery date. Now, the science furnishings are scheduled to ship the beginning of December and should be installed over the winter break. The new lab on one side will be for general sciences like biology and physics and the other will house computer sciences, robotics and coding. Solar tubes from the roof will fill the area with natural light and windows on both sides of the lab will let students, staff and visitors observe what’s going on at any time. The evolution of the area is an ongoing process, but as funding allows, the lab will be more and more versitile and useful.
