A COVID-19 booster shot is now available for people 65 and over, residents in long-term care facilities and those 18 years of age or older with underlying medical conditions and those 18 and older who are at high risk to contract the virus due to the work they do. The CDC approved the Pfizer vaccine booster late last week. Aspirus will be one of the many health care facilities to administer the booster shot. Aspirus has enough Pfizer vaccine on hand to handle these groups of people that have just become eligible. The booster shots will be available shortly, you can use the online “My Aspirus” system to set an appointment to get the booster shot.
