During its regular meeting yesterday, the Gogebic Community College board accepted the resignation of Dave Erickson, the head of the maintenance and custodial department. Erickson has worked for GCC for the last 16-½ years and lead the department for the last four and a half years. Erik Guenard, vice president of business services said Erickson’s work ethic and attention to detail are a model to be replicated, and he served the institution well. Erickson will retire on September 30th. The college will be seeking a replacement.
