This past Thursday, students at Wakefield-Marenisco K-12 School had a field day, getting a visit from the Food, Agriculture and Resources in Motion Lab. The lab, otherwise known as the FARM Science lab, was parked right behind the school, and fourth grade students were able to have hands-on experiences with agricultural exhibits. The Farm Science Lab is staffed by regional educators trained in Next Generation Science Standards. The lab is “equipped with the latest teaching technologies and STEM-based lessons to increase agricultural awareness.” More information about the FARM Science lab can be found at farmsciencelab.org.
