Students and their families attended a Back to School Fair at Luther L. Wright K-12 school on Thursday. Students and parents had the opportunity to meet with teachers and complete registration paperwork. Students lined up in the gym to collect their schedules and Chromebook laptops; every student from k-12 has access to a laptop. Many assignments are now uploaded to Google Classroom, and the laptops allow students easy access to them. Finding their classrooms and lockers and getting bus schedules all part of the day, as was burgers and hot dogs for kids and parents, getting ready for a new school year was hungry work.
