Silver Lining to Pandemic for Wakefield-Marenisco School

The new school year is underway, and for the Wakefield-Marenisco K-12 school, the new year brings a new and still growing curriculum, thanks to COVID-19 relief programs that have provided public entities like schools with much needed funding. The school has recently been able to purchase new textbooks, replace some textbooks that had been in use for more than
twenty years. For some classes, teachers have had to teach from a curriculum for which there were no textbooks, only copied out worksheets handed out. New textbooks will allow all teachers to follow a single curriculum smoothly and consistently.
