The Hurley School board on Monday night approved adopting the current recommendation by the CDC regarding close contact with persons exposed to COVID-19 positive people. The board also decided to continue to make masking optional rather than mandatory at the start of the fall semester. Masking will still be required with all school transportation to include school buses as an insurance issue. The board alsorescinded the policy requiring temperature screenings upon entering the school.
