The Gogebic-Iron County Airport has a new air service provider. The U.S. Dept. of Transportation approved Denver Air Connection as the new Essential Air Service provider, replacing Boutique Air, Inc. with a two year contract starting the beginning of October and running through the end of September 2025. The airline will fly six weekly nonstop flights to Chicago O’Hare International Airport and six nonstop flights to Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport. Fares and flight information for Denver Air Connection will be available in a few days and those holding Boutique Air tickets should have them honored by Denver Air.
