The 13th Annual Danny B. Jack and Jill softball tournament is this weekend at Gile Field. The event benefits the Range Suicide Prevention Council. The tournament runs from 9am Saturday through Sunday, with eight teams of men and women signed up to participate. The top three teams will win a cash prize. There will be concessions and various raffles available during the tournament for fans to take part in. Along with helping the RSPC, the event helps maintain Gile Field, providing improvements over the year. The tournament also provides scholarships for graduating seniors. Since its beginning in 2010, the event has raised more than $38,000 for the Range Suicide Prevention Council.
