The countdown is on to the 41st Annual Loon Day in Mercer. The celebration kicks off with a street dance on Tuesday from 7-11, then on Wednesday the celebration takes place from 9am to 4pm in downtown Mercer, with a Flea Market, Sidewalk & Bake Sales, Live Music, Raffles, Food & Refreshments. Over 250 art and craft exhibits. Also, the World Famous Loon Calling Contest at 1:30 pm , with 4 different age classifications including the adult class. Teagan Zolecki will be defending his grand champion title from last year. There will be a shuttle downtown from Carow Park. Contact the Mercer Chamber of Commerce for more info.
