The Mercer Board of Supervisors met late last week to discuss a home on North Falcon Road that is being operated as a tourist rooming house without a permit. The owners, through their attorney, said they thought they were operating legally, as they’d received a conditional use permit from the planning commission. It was made clear that the owners also need to pay a fee and apply for a tourist rooming house permit. A motion to send a letter to the owners informing them of what is required was passed unanimously. The letter was sent yesterday.
