The student craftpersons at the Northwoods Manufacturing program at Hurley K-12 have completed another project to be placed locally. The commons area of the Pat O’Donnell Civic Center will not only have bay windows overlooking Mount Zion, but there will also be a sign that says “Find Your North” with the Ironwood logo. The 200 pound metal and wood sign was delivered last week, created by students in the woodworking and metal shop programs. The project was commissioned by the Civic Center Board, especially Mae Moderson, who made the connection with Northwoods.
