Work on Ironwood’s water and sewer projects in various areas of the city may be completed by the end of July, according to a report by the project engineer to the city commission meeting earlier in the week. There have been some routine, but unexpected costs according to the managing principal engineer for Coleman Engineering, the city’s consulting firm. Special fill material on the Lake Avenue water and sewer work has been needed, but nothing unusual. Lake Avenue should be done soon and water and sewer replacement work at West Pewaby, Chestnut Street and Van Buskirk Road is almost complete.
