Officials say Northwood Paving started milling and resurfacing a portion of US 2 and M-28 in Wakefield and remind drivers that they may encounter delays as flaggers work to move opposing traffic onto one available lane on each road. That particular intersection is tough to manage as there are four directions of traffic and flaggers have to stand off to the side to allow traffic to pass. Northwoods Paving says they anticipate this portion of the roadwork to be done by the 23rd, which is earlier than expected.
